I've figured seeing as my life is changing for the better everyday, I'd come to continue logging it here. Also, I believe it'll add to what I know a year from now.
Expansion was overrated, we've killed Sieryu and Genbu, and my rdm is 60.
That's about it in a nutshell. The use of pictures will begin again in my next entry. ^^ |

That's what I'd call this weekend. It's been...Amazing. :D The Ls is coming along better than expected, and there's nowhere to go but up. We'll start from Saturday.
The Promy run had to be canceled Friday night because it was my mom's birthday(yeah, I forgot again. ><) No one minded, though, so we went along and rescheduled for saturday. Before the run, I spent some time on my new love; Ranger.^^
I was able to get to lv 20 from 15, all thanks to Xeny. :3 Love that boy.
After my little bow excursion, we geared up and went after the Promy bosses. After two reschedulings, we weren't going to back down without a fight.

Because Lokii was so kind to remind us every single day of the week for the past two weeks, our long scheduled rutter sabaton run took place. Our badass in standing was nice enough to come as sam/nin again. It'll be a shame when I take that title back.

Before I called it a night, I heard word from Lulu that OM was attempting Vrtra tonight. They wiped the first time, but I was able to catch the last quarter of their second attempt.

A good leader delegates and trusts his team to get the job done. A good team doesn't question the leader until it's decided that he has no idea what the hell he's doing. A good plan challenges the abilities of both the team and the leader, without demanding anyone to anything outside the realm of their potential. A good example of this is Divine Might.
For those who don't know, Divine Might is an alternative to the Arc Angel mission of Zilart, ZM14. You fight all four Arc Angels at once instead of one at a time. Of course, the harder of two options would be made worth your while.
The reward for Divine Might is the choice of 1 of 5 superior earrings; the Suppanomimi, Bushinomimi, Beastly, Abyssal, and Knight's earring. You can only get one earring per character, so think about it before you choose. You won't ever be able to get another one. ><
Now anyone who knows me knows I'm not a big fan of the manaburn strategy. It's quick, it's easy, but it lacks situational thought and something I like to call "actual skill." But if you're a blm and you're asked to help, 95% of the time it'll be manaburn.
Here're two screenshots from two seperate DM runs. The first is from my latest, the second is from my earliest. It's a typical "Good run, bad run" comparison. We'll start with the bad.

When manaburns work, they can work either very well or very not so well. The key is to analyze what went wrong and keep trying, as with everything that requires multiple people and a plan. PU'll be doing it with a normal alliance, and I'm confident we'll score an excellent win and a few movies to remember it by. |

This is going to double as the ls journal and my own personal time with FFxi. Now's as a good a time as ever to get started.

So far the ls is coming along dandy. Everyone's getting along, trust isn't an issue, and we're focusing on buffing everyone induvidually at the momment. Lokii's got his Obow, I got my Shaman's, everyone's leveling.
Congrats on Lokii, Asu, and Jan on sky. Only took 13 straight hours. :3
Loxley bow nm sucks. Right after we got my Shaman's, we tried to pimp out our resident rng some more. So we killed...And killed...And killed..For 8 hours. Big heap of nothing. I got mine in 20minutes unintentionally, so I'm going back to help Lokii later. ; ; That bow'll help greatly on nms that we'll be camping.
A bit of confusion on Promy times. It seems everytime 2 people are ready, 2 people aren't. And then when those two come, the other two left already. We'll get all three crags done by saturday, no matter what. I just want the people who need it to be able to come. One less thing for everyone to worry about. It's a shame, though. 2.5 is going to de-virginize them from CoP many times. ; ;
Recruiting is opening up again, but I want to get the site finished up first. It'll help with organization, hopefully. I need to post this roster somewhere everyone can see, find an easy none-ffxi way of applying to the ls, list god drops, tutorials, and help plan things many times beforehand.
Also, the main focus of recruiting at the moment are war, rdm, brd, rng, drk, pld, nin, and at least two bst would be awesome. Requested jobs are neither listed for priority nor limited to the ones listed. |
